TEHRAN A fort built during the Siljukid era, Soleiman Boq'eh, has been unearthed in the village of Tarseh, suburb of the city of Minoodasht.
Jebre'il Nokandeh, a cultural heritage expert, said the fort is located in the mountainous and jungle area on top of a mountain called Boqoto. Nokandeh added that the pass way to the fort is mostly covered with rocks and the best way to get to the fort is the village of Tarseh.
According to Nokandeh, the fort has two watching towers and is constructed by bricks.
However, Nokandeh said the main parts of the fort has been destroyed due to the passage of time.
Regarding the location of the fort, he said it seems that the fort was built for security of the villages of the region.
